Flowers

Some advocate clipping succulent flower stalks when they appear to get the plant to direct its energy into leaves and roots. Maybe the stalks do mar the perfection of a rosette, but I would rather see what is going to happen. The Echeveria 'Doris Taylor' has some nice orange blossoms.

The 'Topsy Turvy' stalk isn't interesting yet. We will see what happens.

The Hawortha attentuata 'Concolor' has sent up a thin stalk.

And the buds of Sempervivum Unknown #5 continue to develop. For more of this plant, see the "Death of a Sempervivum" post.
